Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures have announced that Henry Cavill will play Clark Kent in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman reboot.
Snyder was quoted as saying, “In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen. I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.”
For those asking who the f is Henry Cavill (such as myself), he is best known for his work on The Tudors, while also appearing in Stardust, Tristan + Isolde, and The Count of Monte Cristo.
The new Superman movie is set to come out in 2012, was written by David S Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Christopher Nolan, and will also be produced by Nolan.
Here’s what Cavill looks like…
Unpopular opinion time, I guess, but I’m happy with this casting.
I honesty don’t know what to say. I mean he’s really beautiful and sexy, a good actor. But he doesn’t seem Clark Kent. But if Nolan-Snyder have choose him, I’m really trustful.
